The Grand Finale

1. Add 1 oz of brown sugar to a tall glass and mix with 6 oz of hot water.
Slowly pour 1-1/2 oz of Grand Marnier into the hot liquid and add at least three orange twists (more if desired).

2. Muddle the orange twists with the back of a long spoon to release the oil and essence from the orange peel.

3. Then top with a generous helping of whipped cream and grated cinnamon. It is ideal for serving at the end of the evening or as an après-ski delight.

Dirty Laundry Anyone?!?!

Recently clients of ours toured the Dirty Laundry Vineyard in Summerland and could not say enough amazing things about the wine and the staff. So, OBVIOUSLY we had to check it out.
And let us say......mmmmmm!
The Vineyard's story is quite endearing, it is as follows:
'During the gold rush era, our town's laundry seemed innocent enough. Little did anyone know of the naughty business that went on behind the scenes. Perhaps it is best that we keep this little known part of Summerland history hush-hush'.
From Chardonnay to Riesling to Pinot Noir...they are all worthwhile checking out. The Dirty Laundry Vineyard is the perfect fit for your next event venue or stay-cation!

Spain Anyone?

JUMILLA MONASTRELL - ALTOS DE LA HOYA 07/09
Jumilla Monastrell - Altos de la Hoya
-Is a seductively Spanish bouquet of dark berries, lavender, rose and smoky Indian spices. Paired with it's vibrant blackberry and candied cherry flavours that are lifted by zesty minerals and it's impressive finish that features pure berry bliss makes you left wanting more. Serve this wine with a hearty fare like a beef or vegetarian stew or with
steak and mushrooms.
Cheers!
